Baseball Recap: Immaculate Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Immaculate's offense. They fell just short of the Weston Trojans by a score of 2-0 on Monday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Immaculate's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Weston, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-14.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Immaculate is set to challenge their familiar foe New Fairfield at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mustangs 3.5, the Rebels 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Weston will take on rival Notre Dame Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
