Softball Recap: Lewis-Palmer Comes Up Short

After flying high against Coronado on Tuesday, Lewis-Palmer came back down to earth. The Rangers lost 12-0 to the Discovery Canyon Thunder on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunder this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-3 back in September.

Lewis-Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Discovery Canyon, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-15.

Lewis-Palmer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Discovery Canyon, they are taking a road trip to challenge Pueblo Central at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Thunder's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
