Soccer Game Preview: Lanier County vs. Monroe

The Lanier County Bulldogs will challenge the Monroe Golden Tornadoes at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Lanier County and three for Monroe.

Lanier County is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They came up short against Echols County on Thursday, falling 7-3. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-1.

Meanwhile, Monroe lost 11-1 to Dougherty on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Golden Tornadoes have lost by exactly ten goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Richard Morris, who's now up to two this season.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lanier County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
