Gwynn Park is 6-1 against Surrattsville since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Yellowjackets will challenge the Hornets at 2:00 p.m. Surrattsville took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Gwynn Park, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Gwynn Park didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Largo, but they still walked away with a 33-28 win. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

William Butler had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 261 yards and two TDs, while also punching in three touchdowns on the ground. A healthy portion of Butler's aerial production (135 yards to be exact) went to Riley Holloman, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Meanwhile, Surrattsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 28-12 to Central. On the bright side, the 12- point performance marked the Hornets' highest-scoring contest to date.

Gwynn Park's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Surrattsville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything came up roses for Gwynn Park against Surrattsville in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 48-0 victory. Will the Yellowjackets repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
