Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Columbus). They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons on Thursday. The Sailors not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since June 4th (when they won 14-3).

Columbus' win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, their defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-15.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Columbus beat the Falcons by a score of 30-15 later that day.
