Softball Game Preview: Crisp County Cougars vs. Worth County Rams

The Crisp County Cougars will face off against the Worth County Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crisp County will be strutting in after a victory while Worth County will be coming in after a loss.

Crisp County's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Fitzgerald with a sharp 10-0 win. Considering the Cougars' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Worth County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 16-0 to Bacon County.

Crisp County's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11. As for Worth County, their loss dropped their record down to 9-17.

Crisp County beat Worth County 8-4 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
