Volleyball Recap: Hortonville Beats Barneveld for Their Third Straight Victory

Hortonville entered their tilt with Barneveld on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles. The Polar Bears were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Polar Bears were just returning the favor.

Hortonville's offense was headlined by Brooke Bacus and Becca Krause, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Ashlie Sippola and her eight assists. Bacus was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Hortonville's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Barneveld, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-5.

Looking ahead, Hortonville will take on Appleton East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Barneveld, they will be playing at home against Pecatonica at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
