Soccer Recap: Cottonwood Classical Prep Comes Up Short at Home Against St. Michael's

Cottonwood Classical Prep unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 4-0 to the St. Michael's Horsemen on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Cottonwood Classical Prep of the 6-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

St. Michael's has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Cottonwood Classical Prep wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-2 defeat against Hope Christian on the 26th. As for St. Michael's, they will take on Portales in a tournament on the 29th.
