Weatherford and Bethany are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. The Weatherford Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Bethany Bronchos at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Weatherford is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 11 games.

Last Friday, everything came up roses for Weatherford against Tuttle as the squad secured a 95-47 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 27 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Bethany waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 49-36. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Bronchos' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Warriors are ranked 35th).

Weatherford's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.8 points over those games. As for Bethany, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.

Everything came up roses for Weatherford against Bethany in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 66-37 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Weatherford since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
