Meanwhile, Torrance kept a clean sheet against West on Friday. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win. The Tartars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by three goals or more this season.

Palos Verdes' defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-3. As for Torrance, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Palos Verdes took their win against Torrance when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Palos Verdes since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
