Softball Recap: Bainbridge Takes a Loss

Bainbridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Colquitt County Packers, falling 14-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bearcats of the 8-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Bainbridge saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Auburn Culpepper, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Bainbridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bainbridge will square off against Seminole County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Colquitt County, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Lee County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
