Soccer Recap: Julian Comes Up Short

Julian and Palo Verde Valley combined for nine shots on goal on Friday, which explains the impressive ten total goals scored. The Julian Eagles came up short against the Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets, falling 10-0. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Julian is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. As for Palo Verde Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3-1.

Julian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-0 loss against Borrego Springs on the 28th. Palo Verde Valley has also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Holtville on the 28th.
