Soccer Recap: Westminster Takes a Loss

Westminster lost against Santa Ana on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Westminster Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Santa Ana Saints. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Westminster now has a losing record at 4-5-1. As for Santa Ana, their win bumped their record up to 9-5-2.

Westminster will square off against Calvary Chapel at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westminster is facing Calvary Chapel at the right time seeing as Calvary Chapel is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Santa Ana, they will take on Fullerton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fullerton will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Santa Ana surely won't give up without a fight.
