Basketball Recap: Gateway Takes a Loss

Gateway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 30th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 52-9 loss at the hands of the Shaler Area Titans. The match marked the Gators' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Gateway's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Shaler Area, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 19-2.

Gateway has already played their next game (against Penn Hills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Shaler Area will be playing in front of their home fans against Franklin Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
