            Football Recap: Long Island Lutheran Crusaders vs. St. Luke's Storm        
        
		
        
        
            Long Island Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They were five  points away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   26-21 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Luke's Storm. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Storm apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in November of 2024.
 Xavier O'Brady threw for 48 yards.   Kaiere Griffin was his top target, picking up 50 receiving yards.
Long Island Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for St. Luke's, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Long Island Lutheran will have a little extra prep time after the  defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Varsity Opponent at 1:00  p.m.  on November 8. As for St. Luke's, they will take on Peddie at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The Storm will be up against the Falcons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.67  points per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
