Baseball Game Preview: Centennial Knights vs. Riverwood Raiders

The Centennial Knights will take on the Riverwood Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Centennial is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Centennial's offense. They fell 3-0 to Roswell on Tuesday.

Centennial got a good showing from Tilden Reams, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Reams has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned runs any time he's pitched this season.

Meanwhile, Riverwood was able to grind out a solid victory over Alpharetta on Wednesday, taking the game 5-2.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Riverwood, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Centennial came out on top in a nail-biter against Riverwood in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, sneaking past 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Centennial since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
