Softball Recap: Essex Takes a Loss

Essex was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to the Bedford Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on June 5th.

Essex's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Bedford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.

Looking ahead, Essex will be playing at home against East Mills at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Essex is facing East Mills at the right time seeing as East Mills is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Bedford, they will challenge Stanton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
