Softball Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short

Arlington came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays, falling 14-1. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Savannah Lang made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.

Arlington now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Ashland-Greenwood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Arlington didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-3 victory against Cass on the 4th. As for Ashland-Greenwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 12-4 loss against Beatrice on the 4th.
