Football Game Preview: Baldwin Bulldogs vs. Silver Lake Eagles

The Baldwin Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Silver Lake Eagles on Friday. Baldwin's defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so Silver Lake's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Baldwin will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Wellsville, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 35-14 win on Friday. 35 seems to be a good number for the Bulldogs as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Silver Lake played in-conference for the first time on Friday and got just the result they were looking for. They enjoyed a cozy 21-6 win over St. Marys. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Baldwin better keep an eye on Bryson Burgos. He was instrumental in Silver Lake's win, rushing for 135 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.

Silver Lake didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited St. Marys to a completion percentage of just 41.7%. The team can thank Mason Vanvactor for the heroic effort on defense: he. Silver Lake hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.47 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

The victory got Silver Lake back to even at 2-2. As for Baldwin, their record is now 3-1.
