Football Game Preview: Schlagle Stallions vs. Bonner Springs Braves + Official Tickets

Schlagle hasn't had much luck against Bonner Springs recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Stallions will head out to face off against the Braves at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Schlagle's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.

The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Schlagle and Washington had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Stallions took a hard 49-33 fall against the Wildcats on Friday.

Loss or not, Schlagle got some senior leadership from Brenaj Price and Josiah Evans. Price picked up 215 receiving yards and three scores, while Evans threw for 387 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per attempt. Evans' passing game has become a key predictor of the Stallions' success: the team is 3-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-3 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Bonner Springs scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a blow against Paola, falling 49-14.

Schlagle now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Bonner Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Schlagle couldn't quite get it done against Bonner Springs when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 28-18. Can the Stallions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
