Brookville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 33-30 victory from a begrudging Raiders squad. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since December 21, 2023.

Brookville's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for DuBois, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Brookville and DuBois Central Catholic will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for DuBois, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Karns City at 7:15 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
