Volleyball Recap: Union City Takes a Loss

Union City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Randolph Southern Rebels. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rebels earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Union City took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-15, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Union City still got an impressive performance from Scarlett VanMeter, who had 13 digs.

Union City's loss dropped their record down to 1-26. As for Randolph Southern, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 7-18.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Rebels beat Union City by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.
