Volleyball Recap: St. Andrew's Comes Up Short

After flying high against Islands on Wednesday, St. Andrew came back down to earth. The Lions fell just short of the Providence Christian Academy Storm by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Despite the defeat, St. Andrew's saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lyleigh Bradshaw had nine digs and two aces.

St. Andrew's now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Providence Christian Academy, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

St. Andrew's has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Hilton Head Prep on the 29th. As for Providence Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against St. Francis on the 2nd.
