Northwest Area extended their home winning streak to 12 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Ashlyn Hermanofski. The Northwest Area Rangers managed a 33-29 victory over the Muncy Indians on Friday which was due in part to Hermanofski, who posted 15 points and five steals. Hermanofski is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season.

Northwest Area has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points over those games. Muncy's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 12-1 and their overall record down to 17-5.

Northwest Area has already played their next contest, a 51-35 win against Cowanesque Valley on the 18th. As for Muncy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-18 victory against Williamson on the 18th.
