Volleyball Recap: St. Johns Has No Trouble Against Mogollon + How To Watch

After losing to Mogollon the last time they met, St. Johns decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Redskins blew past the Mustangs 3-0 on Tuesday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Redskins this season.

Kasey Tsinajinnie paced St. Johns' offense, picking up 18 kills. Tsinajinnie got some help from Sarah Cox and her 16 assists. Tsinajinnie was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Despite the loss, Mogollon still got an impressive performance from Liberty McDonald, who had 22 digs. McDonald is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Ava Plantholt also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

St. Johns has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Mogollon, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

St. Johns didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Youngker on the 19th. As for Mogollon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Round Valley on the 18th.
