Malden and Somerville pushed the score to 42-40 the last time they played Somerville, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Golden Tornados came out on top in a nail-biter against the Highlanders, sneaking past 14-12. For the Golden Tornados, this counts as revenge for the 42-40 win the Highlanders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.
