Kennesaw Mountain has gone a perfect 10-0 against Osborne recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs will head out to take on the Osborne Cardinals at 5:55 p.m. Kennesaw Mountain is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.2 runs per game this season.
While Kennesaw Mountain didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Pebblebrook with a sharp 27-1 victory on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.
Austin Carter made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Carter was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Aaron Higgins was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those RBI were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jake Phelps, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Osborne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 15-5 to Wheeler. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.
Chris Blunt made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Stanley Vidal was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Osborne's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Kennesaw Mountain, their record is now 7-2.
Osborne's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Kennesaw Mountain hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .349. It's a different story for Osborne, though, as they've only averaged .256. Will they be able to contain Kennesaw Mountain's hitters?
Everything went Kennesaw Mountain's way against Osborne when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Kennesaw Mountain made off with a 19-1 win.
