Recap: Carmel Padres vs. Monte Vista Christian Mustangs
The Carmel Padres's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their 15th straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 38-37 to Monte Vista Christian. Carmel has struggled against Monte Vista Christian recently, as their game on Wednesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Carmel's loss came despite strong showings from Savanna Radowicz and Myah Koster. Radowicz dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Koster scored ten points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Radowicz has scored all season.
Carmel's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Monte Vista Christian, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carmel will take on Rancho San Juan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monte Vista Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
