Basketball Game Preview: Jordan Panthers vs. Troy Warriors

The Jordan Panthers will take on the Troy Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Jordan will be strutting in after a win while Troy will be coming in after a defeat.

It was a proper cat-fight when Jordan faced off against Cabrillo on Thursday. Everything went Jordan's way against Cabrillo as Jordan made off with a 40-18 victory. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 379th, while the Jaguars are ranked 760th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Troy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 39-35 to Brea Olinda.

Troy's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Jordan, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.
