Glen Burnie has gone 7-2 against Meade recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Gophers will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Glen Burnie's defense has only allowed 14.9 points per game this season, so Meade's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Glen Burnie's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Old Mill two weeks ago. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. The Gophers haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Meade walked away with it. They blew past the Owls 35-12 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Mustangs as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Glen Burnie better keep an eye on Jayden Rumley. He was instrumental in Meade's win, rushing for 125 yards and three scores. That's the most rushing yards Rumley has posted since back in September.

Meade didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Garron Armstrong and Kayden McDuffie. McDuffie got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Glen Burnie's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Meade, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.

Glen Burnie barely slipped by Meade in their previous matchup back in October, winning 21-20. Will the Gophers repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
