Vacaville came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Wood Wildcats onto the board and left with a 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 12 games by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Wood from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Sophia Franzoni led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Vacaville's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-1-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those eight contests. As for Wood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-8-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Vacaville nor Wood have any future games scheduled.
