Football Game Recap: St. James vs. Norwood-Young America

Norwood-Young America had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. Norwood-Young America weren't too far behind, but the team still lost 16-20 to St. James on Friday. Norwood-Young America was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. James apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Norwood-Young America off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving St. James a 1-0 record.

Norwood-Young America will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Le Sueur-Henderson at 7:00 PM. St. James are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Martin County West next week at 7:00 PM.
