Soccer Recap: Pierce County Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Pierce County couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tattnall County Warriors on Thursday. Pierce County have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Pierce County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Tattnall County, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Pierce County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tattnall County, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Crisp County on the 6th.
