Basketball Recap: University Comes Up Short

University lost against Palisades on January 6th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The University Wildcats came up short against the Palisades Dolphins, falling 53-29. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-9.

University has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Palisades, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-9.

University won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Grant at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Palisades, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Chaminade at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
