Softball Recap: Westview's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Westview waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Bryan Bears a 15-0 shutout. Considering the Wolverines have won eight matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Westview's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Bryan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westview will host Millard South at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolverines' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. As for Bryan, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against South Sioux City at 5:00 p.m.
