Soccer Game Preview: Union Mine vs. Argonaut

The Union Mine Diamondbacks are taking a road trip to square off against the Argonaut Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Union Mine's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Union Mine fell victim to Liberty Ranch and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Argonaut didn't have quite enough to beat El Dorado on Wednesday and fell 3-2. Brookelynn Lockhart was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Argonaut has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-5-2 record this season. As for Union Mine, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-3.
