Basketball Game Preview: Sacred Heart Academy Lions vs. Math Civics & Sciences Mighty Elephants

Having just played yesterday, the Sacred Heart Academy Lions will get right back to it and host the Math Civics & Sciences Mighty Elephants at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Sacred Heart Academy played in conference for the first time on Thursday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They enjoyed a cozy 47-29 victory over Merion Mercy Academy. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 178th, while the Golden Bears are ranked 414th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Sacred Heart Academy and bumps their season record up to 13-6.

As for Math Civics & Sciences, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the wrong side of .500 (3-7), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year.
