Softball Recap: Screven County Takes a Loss

Screven County lost against Metter back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Gamecocks fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 4-3.

Screven County's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Metter, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coming up, Screven County will challenge Greenbrier at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Gamecocks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolfpack have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Metter, they will be playing at home against Claxton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
