Baseball Recap: Early County Comes Up Short

Early County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Seminole County Indians, falling 10-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

Early County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Grist, who went 1-for-4 with one RBI.

Early County's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Seminole County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Early County is set to face off against their familiar foe Terrell County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Seminole County will take on rival Pataula Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
