Softball Recap: Macon's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

With a playoff win on the line, Macon rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Lutheran Cougars by a score of 9-6. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Macon's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Looking ahead, Macon will take on Chillicothe on Friday. The Hornets' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
