Volleyball Recap: Florence Christian Takes a Loss

Florence Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carolina Forest Panthers.

Florence Christian was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23.

Florence Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Carolina Forest, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-6.

Coming up, Florence Christian will challenge Dillon Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carolina Forest, they are taking a road trip to face off against Pee Dee Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
