Soccer Game Preview: Canton vs. Macomb

Canton is 2-8 against Macomb since September of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Little Giants will welcome the Bombers at 3:30 p.m. Canton will be strutting in after a victory while Macomb will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with ten defeats in a row, Canton turned things around against Springfield Southeast on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Spartans. The contest was close at halftime, but Canton turned on the heat in the second half with three goals.

Meanwhile, Macomb lost 8-1 to Geneseo on Thursday.

Canton's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Macomb, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Canton beat Macomb 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. Do the Little Giants have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bombers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
