Baseball Recap: Loganville Christian Academy's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Loganville Christian Academy's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 16-1 margin over the Peachtree Academy Panthers. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Marshall Myers and Brooks Baldwin did most of the damage at the plate: Myers scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1, while Baldwin scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. What's more, Myers posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Hahn, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

The victory got Loganville Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Peachtree Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Loganville Christian Academy will host Dominion Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Dominion Christian has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Peachtree Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers challenge the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
