Banneker extended their losing streak to 13 on Wednesday, dropping them down to 1-14. They came up short against the Forest Park Panthers, falling 26-17. On the bright side, the 17- run performance marked the Trojans' highest-scoring game to date.

As for Forest Park, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-12. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won nine matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

For Forest Park's part, they let Anastasia Fites and Makenzie Ginlock run wild. Fites went a perfect 5-for-5 with four runs, five RBI, and one triple, while Ginlock got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, five RBI, and one triple. That's the most runs Fites has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Ninette Watkins, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI.

As of now, neither Banneker nor Forest Park have any future games scheduled.
