Baseball Recap: Quincy Presidents vs. Pembroke Titans
Quincy lost to Pembroke back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Presidents came up short against the Titans, falling 10-4. The Presidents just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.
Joe MacNeil was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Welter, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.
Quincy's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Pembroke, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season.
Coincidentally, Quincy and Pembroke will both be playing Plymouth South the next time they take the field. The Presidents will host the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Titans will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
