Softball Recap: Fremont Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Fremont's offense. They came up short against the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays on Saturday, falling 10-0. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bluejays from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Ashland-Greenwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Fremont will face off against Bellevue East at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Chieftains have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Ashland-Greenwood, they will venture away from home to square off against Arlington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
