Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Deer Valley). They blew past the St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots 6-0 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wolverines needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Their offense was hitting St. Joseph Notre Dame from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Kiki Walker led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

With the win, Deer Valley broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-8. As for St. Joseph Notre Dame, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deer Valley will square off against Antioch at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for St. Joseph Notre Dame, they will challenge Bentley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
