Basketball Recap: Madison-Grant Comes Up Short

Madison-Grant lost against Mississinewa back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Madison-Grant Argylls were outmatched by the Mississinewa Indians and fell 52-18. The Argylls were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-6.

Grace Wood was Madison-Grant's leading scorer, having posted five points.

Jaci Crick continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Mississinewa, going 6 of 8 on her way to 16 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklynn Nash, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 14 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Madison-Grant and nudges their season record down to 3-10. As for Mississinewa, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7.

Madison-Grant will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mississinewa at 10:00 a.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Mississinewa, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 59-33 loss against Huntington North on the 28th.
