Dalton lost against Allatoona on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Dalton took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Allatoona. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Dalton saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jose Orrelanes, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Conrad Coleman also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Dalton's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Allatoona, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dalton is set to take on their familiar foe Southeast Whitfield County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Allatoona will face off against rival Cass at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday.
