Softball Recap: Elkhorn Takes a Loss

Elkhorn suffered their closest loss since September 6th on Thursday. They fell just short of the Norris Titans by a score of 10-8. The defeat continues a trend for the Antlers in their meetings with the Titans: they've now lost three in a row.

Olivia Rivera was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two runs. That home run was her first of the season. Karlie Villwok was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Elkhorn now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Norris, they pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elkhorn will take on Columbus in a tournament on Saturday. As for Norris, they will face off against Waverly at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
